Join Cheshire Wildlife Trust for a guided walk over rolling hills with stunning views of the Peak District and the Cheshire Plain.
The ‘Living Landscape’ walks showcase some of the catchment scale conservation work at the heart of the Trust’s Pennine Fringe Living Landscape. Following head water streams you will have the chance to see the in-channel natural flood management works and woodland planting, giving you an insight into the conservation work we deliver beyond our boundaries. The walk will comprise of a 4 mile hike through the upper Dean catchment with opportunities to discuss the various habitats and species that the Trust are striving to protect in this area.
Please bring suitable outdoor footwear and clothing, a drink and a packed lunch.
