An 8 lesson education package for KS3 students, exploring weather, climate, influencing factors and climate change.
The Flood Team have developed a Weather and Climate Education package. This series of eight KS3 Geography lessons follows the national curriculum, exploring the differences between weather and climate, global climate zones, influencing factors, and climate change. Students will also examine the impacts of climate change and how it can be managed. As well as a case study of Storm Desmond (2015).
Each lesson includes a PowerPoint, teacher’s notes, and a worksheet, to develop students’ understanding of weather, climate and climate change.
