From Monday 26th – 30th January, we are hosting our ‘Myth Busting’ Focus Week.
A lot of what we think we know about flooding just isn’t true. Our focus week will deliver clear fact-checking that should help you protect your home and property from future flood risk. We will be busting some of the biggest misconceptions about flooding, including “it won’t happen to me” and “the council will give me sandbags”!
We will be sharing resources and blogs across X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Bluesky. All of our resources and toolkits are also available on The Flood Hub website, so you don’t need a social media account to access any of the content. In fact, Bluesky posts are public and can be viewed without an account if you want to check them out.
