During October, we are hosting two upcoming social media campaigns from our social media accounts:
From Monday 13th – 17th October, we are hosting our ‘Flood Aware? Plan and Prepare!’ Focus Week.
Running alongside and in support of Flood Action Week, this campaign will look at all the things you can do to plan ahead and prepare for a flood. We will raise awareness of how to check your flood risk, the Environment Agency Flood Warning Service, flood planning, flood kits, flood insurance, Property Flood Resilience (PFR) and much more!
And….
From Monday 20th – 24th October, we are hosting our Flood Safety Focus Week.
This focus week aims to raise awareness about the hidden dangers and risks during a flood, whilst also sharing advice and guidance on what steps can be taken to ensure your safety during a flood.
We will be sharing tips, resources, and blogs across X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Bluesky. All of our resources and toolkits are also available on The Flood Hub website, so you don’t need a social media account to access any of the content. In fact, Bluesky posts are public and can be viewed without an account if you want to check them out.
