Our Future Coast (OFC) have teamed up with Hello Lamp Post so they can talk to you about all things coast. You may have noticed some signs around places such as Formby, Stanah, Millom, Hest Bank, Blackpool and Jenny Brown’s Point which look at bit like the image below:

These signs invite you to have a friendly chat, take a quiz and ask some questions all about our coastal areas.

OFC would love to hear from you and your community. They are looking to gather your thoughts and feelings about climate change, coastal change and the things you value about your coast.

What to do:

  1. Look out for a Hello Lamp Post sign in your local area.
  2. Scan the QR code or text the number to say hello (you can have a go by using the QR code on this page.
  3. Wait for your reply. The object will ask you some questions, invite you to take a quiz and then give you the opportunity to ask some questions around climate change and coastal change.
  4. Or you can follow this link HLP web app and have your say!

The first phase of installation went live in September. These will be available at Formby, Stanah (Wyre Country Park), Millom, Blackpool, Hest Bank and Jenny Brown’s Point
