A GCSE case study about Storm Babet, October 2023
The Flood Team at Newground have developed a GCSE case study about Storm Babet. The package contains a powerpoint lesson, teachers notes and worksheets.
The case study discusses the cause of Storm Babet and its social, economic, and environmental impacts. It also examines the strategies which were implemented to mitigate the risks and impacts, and creates discussions about the changing extreme weather in the UK.
