Lesson 6: Coastal Flooding and Erosion

This lesson defines a coastline and explains how they constantly change shape through coastal erosion. Pupils will learn about the impacts of a changing coastline and in particular how it can affect flood risk. The lesson also introduces climate change and coastal management and explains how rising sea levels can cause an increase in coastal flooding and erosion.
