Meet Mark from the Environment Agency

Mark Garratt is the Digital and Skills Director at the Environment Agency, which works to create better places for people and wildlife and support sustainable development.

Mark reflects on how, today, the Environment Agency reaches an estimated 1 in 10 of the country’s population through digital platforms and their data is downloaded around 200 million times a year. But a key action for the Environment Agency is to grow this significantly over the next five years by investing in digital services to better communicate the risk from flooding and coastal change.
