On 5th November 2019, The Flood Hub website will celebrate it’s one year anniversary!
And what a year it’s been!
The idea for The Flood Hub first began in Spring 2017, and after months and months of hard work, it was finally ready to be launched on 5th November 2018. The North West RFCC funded the development of the website, which was written and created with the help of the flood team at Newground, the Environment Agency, United Utilities, and the Strategic Flood Partnerships of Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.
Over the year, the website has grown to accommodate 141 of resources on the Knowledge Hub and 142 points on the Local Area map. New information is constantly being added to the website to keep communities up to date with news, events and flood risk management schemes happening across the North West!
