From Monday 18th – Friday 22nd March, we are hosting a ‘Flood Risk and Planning Focus Week’ across our social media accounts:
We are running this Focus Week on the back of a survey we ran in 2023, in partnership with Lancashire County Council. We have found that there is a lack of understanding around flood risk and planning, therefore this Focus Week will be a brief introduction to the planning system and how flood risk is considered. We have produced a handy Flood Risk and Planning FAQ resource, which will be linked to throughout the Focus Week, as well as a page on The Flood Hub, that the users can read for more information.
We would greatly appreciate your support during this focus week by following @TheFloodHub to help raise awareness of flood risk and planning. Please find below our campaign graphic and some sample social media posts that you are welcome to use this week.
