This focus week will raise awareness around riparian ownership and include how to check if you are one, what it means if you are and the roles and responsibilities which come with being a riparian owner.
Recent engagement work carried out by the Newground Flood Team has highlighted a lack of understanding on the topic of riparian ownership and communities are often in disbelief at their responsibilities associated with the term and its meaning.
We would greatly appreciate your support during this focus week as we aim to raise understanding of riparian ownership. Please find below our graphic and some sample social media posts that you are welcome to use this week.
